The Second Circuit Court is very similar to the Ninth, they are NOT very Second Amendment friendly.
The Concealed Carry Improvement Act was the liberal democrap response to the Bruen Decision, they lost that Bruen case and New York State became "shall issue" as a result.
They were so pissed they had lost, and 100+ years of shitty gun control laws were invalidated, they passed the Concealed Carry Improvement Act in the middle of the night with zero public input or comment.
It was passed at a special session of the legislature, democrap super majority, governor, state assembly & state senate.
Virtually ALL public & public facing property was deemed a "sensitive area" and the only place you could actually carry was when a business posted a sign saying it was OK to enter with a gun.
That was challenged in court, and New York State lost yet again. I will bet they still have more tricks up their sleeves, but for now, another win IS another win!

The Second Circuit did uphold the section of the Concealed Carry Improvement Act that deals with New York’s ban on firearms in public parks and other “sensitive places” like entertainment venues and public transit facilities. It's a good thing I don't go near where stuff is still banned, I live out in the boondocks.
Here where I am, many businesses DID put signs on the front door stating legal CCW allowed.
I also haven't seen a single sign saying NO GUNS ALLOWED.
