With the new “guidelines” sent this morning, is anyone seeing anywhere on that ATF / NICS instruction indicating what exactly the “local law enforcement” is supposed to do with the notification of denial / delay?

My last email was from 7/28 about unannounced individuals coming for a delivery who used a stolen credit card.

Here the information gets sent to the precinct command staffs and then filed in the big round files unless it's a name that's already being looked at for some reason. There are no actual instructions as to what Local LE is supposed to do that I am aware of.

The ATF can’t actually make local law enforcement do anything.
