vemon, the sauce looks good. Not too much tomato juice in it. Would you mind to share the receipe?

So, you live in Moscow? My sister in law comes from Ulan Ude. Her brother is living in Moscow, too. And no, I wouldn't ask you if you know him by happenstance. Wink

Comrade ElmerKeith,
thank you for appreciating my sauce for spaghetti Wink

the Recipe is extremely simple:
meat beef + pork mince, spread on a well-heated (!) the pan constantly to roll over and do not allow "sticking together" in clumps. Then add lots of sliced onions, a little sugar, salt, black pepper. Continue to cook covering the pan with a lid until the "disappearance" of the bow (35 min approx) Add finely chopped carrots, a little water and a spoonful of tomato paste (or a few fresh tomatoes). On low heat bring to readiness, add spices to taste (garlic, chili) and spread on cooked spaghetti Bon appetit! Smile

And Yes, I live in Moscow and quite possibly know your family member Wink

P.S I apologize for any translation mistakes. I use autotranslator.

Thank you for your kind reply.

And don't worry about any mistakes.

I don't speak or read any Russian. My paternal grandfather had lots of time to learn your language. That was between 1944 and 1950. He was imprisoned in Stalino during and after WWII.
Lots of Russian words but probably no spaghettis.

When my sister in law joined my family my father startet to learn Russian and can speak it fairly well now. He often helps us as an interpreter when our family branch from Ulan Ude pays us a visit.

I do it just like making grilled chesses.

I also grill the removed holes because they are great for helping sop up the runny, yummy yokes. They will take slightly less time to cook than the Hole Sandwich does, so keep an eye on them.

The one down side is I like to make 2-3 each for me and my GF. I don't have a grill top griddle or anyway to make 4-6 at a time. So I make hers, them mine and we can't eat it together.

I love a strip. Better texture, more steaky than a rib eye or a filet. A man's steak.
