Maple-Bacon sugar cookies made by me:



Baked Jersey Tomato Soup from the Varsity Inn in Ocean City, NJ. Creamy house-made tomato soup baked French Onion-style with croutons and cheese. Utter delicious.



Cheeseburger from the White Haven Family Diner in the Poconos, PA. That's a 12 inch plate by the way!



The Full Irish breakfast, at the Everglades Hotel in Derry, Northern Ireland. Irish bacon, banger sausage, poached eggs, beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, white pudding (very Scrapple like!) and Irish soda bread with the wonderful Irish butter

sirloin with argentine chimichurri on a bed of cous cous, spinach, red peppers, and scallions.

we have started doing some of the Hello Fresh mail-order ready-to-cook meals and they have all been excellent. Usually take right around 30 minutes total to prep and cook.

Cheesy Chicken Monterey

1 package Knorr Rice Sides - chicken flavor
1 can (11 oz.)corn, drained
1 can (11 oz.) black beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (4 oz.)green chilies, undrained
1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breast, thinly sliced
slice onion
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack chees - WE USE QUESO CHEESE SAUCE

Prepare Knorr Rice Sides - chicken flavor according to package directions. Stir in corn, beans and chilies. Meanwhile, heat 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken and onion, stirring frequently, until chicken is thoroughly cooked, about 4 minutes.

Put cast iron skillet/platter in hot oven. When heated, take out of oven, arrange rice on platter, then top with chicken and onions and cheese. Put back in oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

As we don't have Knorr rice sides in Germany I will try to find a substitute although we have lots of Knorr products.

What about the decoration? M 15 or M 18?

thank you for appreciating my sauce for spaghetti Wink

the Recipe is extremely simple:
meat beef + pork mince, spread on a well-heated (!) the pan constantly to roll over and do not allow "sticking together" in clumps. Then add lots of sliced onions, a little sugar, salt, black pepper. Continue to cook covering the pan with a lid until the "disappearance" of the bow (35 min approx) Add finely chopped carrots, a little water and a spoonful of tomato paste (or a few fresh tomatoes). On low heat bring to readiness, add spices to taste (garlic, chili) and spread on cooked spaghetti Bon appetit! Smile


And Yes, I live in Moscow and quite possibly know your family member Wink
