* Show me the Cheddar *
Cheddar & Crispy Potato Crusted Boneless Skinless Chicken with Parmesan-Roasted Butternut Squash and Poblano Peppers ... Chipotle Ranch Dressing on the veggies. Green onions in the mix. I'm not rich enough to say that cheese is the only cheddar I want or need, but after a few bites of this delightful dinner, I just might reconsider ... maybe. Bon Appetit Smile

* Ending the day with a tangy midnight snack *
Salmon with Dill Crema and Green Beans Amandine ... Way back when, Europeans believed that dill warded away witches and defended against spells. Dill crema dots every bite with delight and I will sleep well knowing I will awake to find I've not turned into a toad. Green beans roasted with garlic, grated parmesan and almond slices. Crema consists of sour cream, dill, lemon juice, olive oil and lemon zest. Hocus-Pocus Bon Appetit Smile

Lemon Thyme Chicken Orzo with Kale and Grape Tomatoes ... Orzo pasta is joined by Parmesan, lemon, kale, tomatoes, garlic and shallots, resulting in a hearty, creamy bed of flavorful, tempting and enjoyable deliciousness that is a fine compliment to a juicy seared chicken breast. Fantastic meal. Bon Appetit Smile

I make a salmon similar to this frequently. My dill sauce includes a little dab of horseradish in addition to your other ingredients. Gives it just the perfect flavor IMO.

Hobbs ... you know (or should, I've posted about it) I've been on the Nutrisystem diet since October 1, 2018 ... I have lost 33 pounds but in this last month I've only lost 2 ... and I think its your fault ... I'm sure that I'm gaining weight just looking at your delicious meals!

This is not to say you should stop by any means ... I just thought you should know.

Actually I'm weaning off the Nutrisystem meals, I've still got 12 pounds to go but the going is slower now that I have to actually think about what to have ... not to mention that my body is getting used to my calorie intake and fighting me on these last few pounds!

Citrus-Miso Salmon with Bang Bang - Roasted Brussels Sprouts ... Lemon, lime, zest and juice, plus honey and olive oil combine with earthy miso paste to form a dressing-like sauce for the salmon. Bang bang sauce (mayo and sriracha) plus cilantro kick up the brussels sprouts a notch. Bon Appetit Smile

* It's elemental Watson *
Mushroom Swiss Chicken with Tomatoes and Spinach ... Sherry vinegar, olive oil and minced shallot salad dressing. Cheese known in America as "Swiss" is actually known as Emmental in Switzerland. So confusing! Whatever the cheese is called, its funky taste melds perfectly with umami mushrooms, minced shallots and light cream coating the succulent chicken with the best of flavors. It's elementary, there's nothing so elemental as the cheese called Emmental. Bon Appetit Smile

Baja Shrimp Bowl with Jalapeño. Arugula, and Tortilla Strips ... Bring the Baja life to your table with this delicious shrimp bowl. Shrimp is cooked in sweet chili sauce, highlighting the best of their flavors. Feisty jalapeño, sweet corn, tomatoes and crunchy tortilla all pile on the goodness over jasmine rice along with lime zest and lime juice in the mix, making every bite a beach party ... sort of. * Sauce Robert, not just for pork anymore *
Sirloin Steak with Sauce Robert and Spinach Scalloped Potatoes ... This rich sauce delivers a velvet touch in spades. White cooking wine mixes with minced shallot, the pungent delight of mustard and the rich depth of demi-glace. Butter swirled in off-burner, levels up the richness. Yukon potatoes and baby spinach cooked with light cream, minced shallot, and grated parmesan cheese complete this gastronomic goodness. Bon Appetit Smile

Garlic-Thyme Roasted Chicken with Green Beans and Apples ... Forget the ancient reputation as the harbinger of temptation and evil. Forgo the legal bribery of handing your teacher a polished one. And brush aside thoughts of omnipresent technology companies: This apple is only one thing, and that's delicious. It's delicious with green beans and shallot and those are delicious when paired with this chicken with garlic-thyme sauce, both herbaceous and creamy. How 'bout them apples. Bon Appetit Smile
