Jacuzzi shots again...albeit dirty this timeWink

IMI Micro Galil mod 699 build. Need my stamp back to swap out the US barrel/FSB for the short IMI unit. Gonna repark a few minor bits. Built by TN's Galil specialist who said he was too busy for me to post his name.

Enjoy my MAR in the tub...

Looks great!! Gonna be a fun blaster at the range but not that quiet even with the can on such a short barrel or have good enough ballistics with 5.56 round but I love it!!!!!!!!!! I only wish my state would allow SBRs.

That SBR would be a wet dream for me. Congrats!!

Yeah, ORF is the only game in town for a micro receiver.

It's interesting that the folding mechanism appears to be built into the receiver. I had not noticed that before this.

So I assume the micro receiver is a different animal than a regular ORF receiver, or is it just modified?

Yeah, the folding hardware all mount into openings in the milled receiver. ORF calls their copy a "true" micro receiver. They also sell their own version with a interpolated micro front end and traditional Galil rear that will use the ARM/SAR external folding stock hardware.
