Most of the pictures in this thread can't be viewed any more because of Photobucket. Might have been better to just start a new thread in which we can see and enjoy all the pictures.

I'm gonna have to pick up another 1 or 2 P320's ... Just need to figure out in what configuration.

That is after I “thinned the herd”. Also had a Compact, Compact RX, and a TacOps Carry. Never had a single problem with any of them.

Lol ... What no VTac? I just picked up a RX fullsize exchange kit and now think I'll try and get a X-Five and .45 as my next P320's. Just a pain in the ass to do in California.

Woo Hoo ... just claimed a X-Five!

My humble little P320SC:

I've swapped the small grip module for an older model with less of a beavertail, smaller slide stop, Obsidian Arms aluminium floor plates and X-ray night sights. I'm still on the fence about it, but I've been carrying it for a few months now. I need to hurry up and get some Grizzle leather for it, that way I wont part with it.

After quite a bit of testing and tweaking, I've come up with my ideal setup:

P320 9mm Compact/Carry slide
Trijicon HD sights
X-Carry grip module
Gray Guns PELT trigger
GGI-badged Springer Precision basepad
Streamlight TLR-1HL

Local shop was having a drawling for a NIB Sig P320 Compact 45 and I somehow pulled off a win. I chose my old badge number. I just about took Dad's former #20, but decided against it. Glad I did.

My 25 dollar Sig P320 Compact 45. Siglites. 2 9 round mags and all paperwork:

I can't believe how well this fits my hand. I honestly had full intentions of selling or trading this as I already have a P220R Carry, but This P320 is sweet. Range session this weekend for sure.

It's reminiscent of the look of the P226R.

Did Sig ever offer a P320 in this configuration? There is such a gun for sale on a local forum, the owner claims it is factory.

Sorry for the late reply. But for those still interested in the answer:

I don't believe they ever offered it in this specific configuration, with a Full Size slide and Carry grip.

But for the first couple years of P320 production, they did offer a factory configuration of a 9mm P320 with a Full Size slide on a Compact grip.

The SKU was 320C-9-FLS

(FLS = Full Length Slide)

I ordered a P320 in .357sig through my FFL. They didn't have an X-Carry and I also wanted .357sig. Once it arrived, I changed out the grip module for the X-Carry module. I also had a GGI PELT2 straight face trigger installed and changed the Night Sights out for XRay3 sights which I like.

I'm very satisfied with the result and am really looking forward to take it to the range. I enjoyed shooting it before the changes, and am expecting it to only have gotten better.

I had trouble with the magazines as the ones that came with the gun had the old style base plate with the round retainer and are not compatible with the grip module even though SIG lists the module for .357sig/.40S&W and 9mm.

So, I bought some retainer plates from Obsidian Arms and some aluminum floor plates from GGI and the modification worked well.

Since then I found two factory magazines at my FFL that have the new floor plate and are compatible. I didn't think such a thing existed, no one seemed to have them, but I found these two. I still like the Obsidian/GGI modification though even if it increases the cost of the magazines significantly.
