I haven't contributed in a while. I took a shot at the moon earlier through our apple tree and a shot of a lily that is a good month early because of our mild winter.

Beautiful ... I lived in Winslow Arizona for my high school years and for the most part I hated it. I forget how beautiful it was at times, but for the most part it was just barren and ugly ... at least from the point of a Kansas boy who was used to 4 seasons and the amazing spring when everything would turn from shades of gray to full color Smile

Winslow...no kidding? I spent many summers there in my grandparent's house. Red dirt and dust everywhere. Did you play baseball in high school? If so you probably know my uncle.

Unfortunately I didn't have time for baseball ... I was the janitor at the Rialto theater in the winter & at the Tonto drive-in in the summer ... this was back in 1972 - 1976 and I worked the concession counter 3-4 days a week to cover when kids called in "sick" ... plus I had a girlfriend ... so needless to say I barely had time for school work, but I did manage to graduate!

Wow, I remember going to the Tonto drive-in. Can't remember the movie but I remember my grandmother had a beige Olds Delta 88. Stylin!

Thanks for the memories...
