Attended a Spring Cruise/Car Show at my dad's friend's shop on Saturday in Austin, TX.
A few shots from the day:

Shop car 'Frozen' 991 911 IIRC

Shop owner's Sunbeam Tiger

Customer's Challenger 392 'Moon Crusher' dyno'd at 436 to the wheels.

Another customer car, supposed to be a 2000hp car.

Hellcat Demon, I believe

Homebuilt Lotus 7 with a 12A rotary

I'll take the Sunbeam Tiger. Poor mans Cobra back in the day. Buddy of mine had one. He'd borrow my Opel GT
and I'd take his Tiger. Great little car.

It's for sale, but way too $$ for me.
Lighting wasn't great in the showroom when I took those photos & I'm still a bit of an amateur at getting the Nikon set right.

I'm retired LEO and my pension and $1.00 will get me a cup of coffee at
McDonalds. Wish I could afford one. When I see one, it and my White Opel GT
and another buddy's TR6 bring back a lot of memories buzzing down the coast
highway from California to Washington back in 69 and 70.

The tiny black dot is a hiker near the top of Mt. Elbert, the highest peak in Colorado (14,439'). Taken from an elevation of about 9500' 8.3 miles from the summit. Cell phone camera through Swarovski spotting scope

Magnification 40×

Magnification 40×, cropped and enlarged.

Viewing through the scope directly I could see the hiker moving and resolve the separation of his/her legs. At 60× focusing was more difficult and the heat waves made the resolution less clear.

My brother just recently sold his house in Elbert, didn't realize it was that high. I'd never been out there to visit.
