So I discovered powdered crack... aka dehydrated cheddar cheese.
And last night I photographed the local high school football game:

It's a small park near my current (on the road) work site - helps recharge the mental batteries

Beautiful shot of an historic town-almost-in-three-states, confluence of two great rivers, and the meeting place of two historic people, John Brown and Robert E. Lee. Also the midpoint of the Appalachian Trail.
I used to travel that route (I-270 to Frederick, US-340 to Berryville VA, VA-7 to Winchester), just so I could pass through Harpers Ferry.

Thanks.
I've done a bunch of hiking and have wanted to do this one but the crowds keep me away. We did the hike to the top then hiked into town for lunch.
Part of me wants to go back with a real camera. This shot was taken with an iPhone.
We found a nice spot where I took this shot that was away from the crowds. Helped it was a small rock outcropping with 100'+ drops on all side. Not many of the touristy type wanted to get out there.
BTW I have never seen so many people wearing shoes that don't have an ounce of dirt on them hiking. My boots where filthy but then they have many miles of real hiking on them.

I know that view, that's Maryland Heights. Very short hike, but very up.
