My parents finally sold their place in the suburbs (offer pending) and will be retiring to the mountains. Very happy for them. My daughter and I have stayed in this house a good bit over the years (after my divorce we needed a place with enough room for us).

Will miss it to a degree.

I did a great hike on Sunday. The area is called Yant Flat and is becoming very popular, especially with Europeans.

My friends and my BC:

The way in and out, kicked my 72 YO butt!

Coming to terms as we just buried him. This might be his final resting ground, but sadly our family is moving on. I have a weird mixture of feelings right now.

He's gone and now he doesn't know that we've all got to leave him. I feel bad.

Some images from 4/1 Scottsdale car show. About 600+ vehicles showed up, from the latest/fastest high end cars to Barrett-Jackson top tier classics. Cars were divided by country; British, German, Italian, etc.

We had a rarely seen visitor today. This little guy wandered in front of our porch while the wife and I were sitting there taking in the nice weather. Based on his size (3.25" carapace), this desert tortoise is about 1.5 years old, and has many years to go to reach his full size of 12"-15". In the bottom photo, it had actually come up to the edge of the porch, right in front of my chair.

Mine's stripped down and ready for a bath Razz

If you really want something you'll find a way ...
... if you don't you'll find an excuse.

I'm really not a "kid" anymore ... but I haven't grown up yet either Wink

Yes, a Rhino 60DS - was using it and the X5 on the 100M (12") gong. It's a surprisingly accurate revolver.

Now give that girl a good cleaning, be sure and get behind her ears LOL!

Definitely Spring in the 'hood. One of our Palms is blooming, a Hummingbird is building a nest, and Western Orioles are back!

For now, the Palm:

Not today, but last month (just got them ready for posting).

I just got back from 21 days in Australia and New Zealand. I took a lot of photos of flowers there. Here is a selection of those pictures.

This morning I finished up this "paper bag special" purchased in York PA two weeks ago ... new tailpiece w/adjuster, bridge with thumb tuner, strings, a few separation repairs, and lots of elbow grease.
