How to get a picky 4-year-old to eat: choices

He’s not very picky types of food...just eating in general. He just doesn’t feel like it or will peck at something and be done. We put this in front of him and he ate some of everything.

Is he a prince?

Damn what a spread.

I opened the thread to suggest hiding it in cheese like the monthly heart worm medicine.

Maybe the title was meant to say 4 four year olds.

Now I'm hungry again.

That looks fantastic!

Two things bring me to tears. The unconditional Love of God,the service of the United States Military, past, present, and future.

I would rather meet

I'm very grateful to have 3 and 5 year old boys that will gobble up ANYTHING I give them! Their cousins are picky as hell and eat like birds and that annoys the shit out of me.

To the OP, I'd tear that up! And so would my boys! Big Grin

If I can catch a flight, I can be there in the morning, what's for breakfast? Razz

My great granddaughter, who will be 2 next month, is an omnivore. I'm not aware of ANYTHING she won't eat. Loves a good salad, all sorts of veggies, sour pickles and even the occasional bite of jalapeño pepper.

The Blueberry/Cracker size ratio is most impressive.

Munchkin crackers or Guinness-Book-of-Records blueberries?

My parents would have said "he'll eat when he's hungry."

Your picky 4 year old has a great life ahead of him...

I'm good with all the fruit (although I'm not really fond of blueberries), but I'd balk at the pastrami and cheeses.

I was headed candied cashews/nuts route. I'm curious now too.

My little one, The Tomminator, has texture issues like his mom...she’s a meat and potatoes girl, but Tommy will live off nuggets and corn dogs if we let him.

I figure, if he’s eating-he’s eating.....his taste will change as he grows (I hope)

My girl, now 11, LOVES I mean LOVVVVVES asparagus.

But despises green beans.

One of her favorites is also stuffed jalapenos.

I don't get it.

Kids appetites will vary widely depending on if they're growing or not.
