So the other day my wife is yelling upstairs that there is a huge spider out on the patio. After a while, I come down and go out to take a look. Holy crap! This thing is seriously as big as my hand. The worst part. It is on the eves, directly above my grill. I can't believe how big and hairy this nasty thing is and I decide I need take a picture. After the picture taking, I am pondering on how I'm going to kill it. Shotgun, broom, etc... (Sorry to all of the spider lovers out there, but I don't play with spiders. I kill every one I see. I hate them, and they all should die!) I wanted to attack it with extreme violence, however, we decided the best thing to do would be to hit it with a stream of Wasp Spray. So, I go out to the garage to get said wasp spray. My wife and I go back outside, and guess what? That's right, the spider is gone. Did I mention that he was hanging out directly above my grill. But now, he is nowhere to be found. So now, I am extremely paranoid about the nasty spider jumping on my face on Sunday afternoon when I'm hanging out on the patio. Here is the picture of the evil creature that is causing me much torment.

Holy Crap! It's a CYLON spider.

Tactically mishandled. You both were there, you both left and took eyes off the "Tango". Bad move, you deserve what you get for it. Next time, whoever has to leave to get whatever you want to employ against said foe, LEAVE SOMEONE TO KEEP EYES ON. That or use whatever is on hand at that moment, even if you have to clean or dispose of a grillin' instrument........sheesh.

If it's outside, it's where it needs to be to do the things it's best suited for. Forget about it and learn from you mistakes.

HOLY CRAP! Where do you live so i can stay far far FAR. . . . . did I say FAARR AWAY! Hey any of you spider lovers know what kind of freak of nature that is? Now you got me looking around to check my surroundings!

That would not be good news at my house. I'm not great with the small ones. Something that size would likely result in lowered property value due to a large number of bullet holes in the eves.

Mars-attacks - I didn't kill it. The hairy demon got away. I still haven't figured out what kind of spider it is. However, I am pretty sure it is in the Nastious Maxamelious family!

In the forest = very interesting (especially the laser).
On the house = It must be terminated with extreme prejudice.

Okay, I wouldn't be able to sleep for a week. The knowledge that it may have gotten into the house and could be somewhere in the sheets would really freak me out. Oh, and I'd be nervous about putting on my shoes, too. And check thoroughly in, around, and behind everything in the bathroom.

Seriously. I'm with you. I'd have screamed like a little girl.
