Not that I am knocking it, but so many people want to go outside the U.S. to see the sites but there are so many places here that people miss out on our natural places of beauty. It is beautiful country there.

I took the family to the south rim of the Grand Canyon, Spring Break of 2018 ... first time I'd been back since 1976 when I graduated High School ... until we went back I can't say that I'd missed Arizona at all. Other than riding dirt bikes in the desert.

In my sophomore year of high school we moved there for my sisters health, I loved my sister but I resented having to leave everyone and everything I knew to live there ... so much that the beauty was wasted on me.

If you really want something you'll find a way ...
... if you don't you'll find an excuse.

I'm really not a "kid" anymore ... but I haven't grown up yet either Wink

We took the pictures I posted on my first trip back home in 40 years. I know exactly how you feel. I was last in Tucson in 1978.

My birthplace:

Yes, I really was born there. My dad was one of the construction crew and I came early, making it impossible to reach the Scottsdale hospital.

thanks folks , good job !

Bonnie will be visiting friends and family in mid Febuary, for ten days , in Mesa .
unfortunately, they don't have room for me in their double wide trailer Frown

air fares are awesome now, but I can't swing a motel and a rental car, even with zero intrest on the credit card
