I agree. I have one in my box. Its a got-to for hard knocks and the bang for buck factor cannot be beat.

It's on sale at Jomashop for $129 if anyone's wanting one at a good price.

Or $20 more for the Japanese made version.

It just makes it appear to be another run of the mill diver style watch, it really makes me glad that I acquired one with the Marlin. Maybe I should get a Tommy Bahama shirt to compliment it. Wink

Check out a 7s26 00d0

These were $100 when I bought several for myself and friends. I had the day/date wheels replaced with the black background ones from a Monster, completed the look. Seiko should have done that from the start.

36mm, I also swapped out the bracelet for a Seiko Super Oyster with solid links and screws instead of pin and collar.

Regulated it, now it's a perfect travel watch, durable and accurate.

That might be one of the few day/date that I actually like.

If you're asking me, then no, it came that way - glass bead blasted.

Can't remember where I found the super oyster, but it was a glass bead blasted project someone was selling, perfect for this watch, so I bought it.

It gets tougher when members email you about good deals.
