SC, you seem to find some amazing Seiko watches out there. Any chance you've run across an SNA139?

(Not my pic, btw, but that's the one. Mine reads SNA139P1 / 7T62-0CE8. I believe the band is 32N7-G-I.)

I love mine, but I broke one of the end pieces on the bracelet. I'd love to find an original bracelet.

Thank you for your time.

God bless America.

I have a SNA414 7T62 but it's a gold IP pilots watch.

Which end piece is broke?

Edit
Hey this one is AWESOME.

I don't have access to my photo editing software right now, so I can't draw a good arrow on the pic and post it. But the piece that broke is the "last link" -- the one that attaches to the piece that attaches to the case.

God bless America.

Your SNA195P would look good on a NATO strap, or any of a number of leather straps. Finding a new
Seiko replacement bracelet will be tough

Yes, our very generous Dave Truong sent me a NATO and it does look great on my Seiko. It's a great band for fall through spring, when I'm not so likely to get wet. In the summertime, though, I generally prefer the metal bands because they don't hold water.

I know, and for the same reason, I generally like metal bracelets, too.

You could look at aftermarket bracelets like Strapcode's. You won't get an endpiece that will conform to the case like the original, but you could get a bracelet with a square end.

This one is a close-ish match, and they make them in all the usual widths. They have other styles with square ends, too.

If it's just a pin, it can be repinned in the bracelet.

If it's the end link itself, it has a reference number on it.

Nice find! I think I neglected, though, to mention that my original was a titanium, rather than stainless --> ridiculously light.

I'll get it under the 'scope at work tomorrow and see if I can find a number on the broken link.

Thanks, SC and jhe.

God bless America.

So if I'm understanding you correctly, it's not an end piece that broke, but the last center link BEFORE the end piece. Is that correct? If so, do you have any extra links left from sizing it to your wrist? If not, how loose or tight is it on you? The reason I ask is that you may be able to get a link from another part of the bracelet that's not needed and insert it in place of the broken one.

That's correct, Brian. I've got a pic on the other computer. I do have a spare link or three, I think. The part that stumps me is how to attach it to the end piece. I don't think I'm explaining it well, but there's no visible fastener -- part of the link folds over part of the end piece, rather than a pin being pushed through them both.

God bless America.

Yeah, it's not a design that's meant to be messed with by the end user. My specialty is the INSIDE of watches, and at the Rolex service center I worked at we had a specialist (who was a jeweler, not a watchmaker) who worked on cases and bracelets; but I did some bracelet work in school and I still have casing and sizing tools. If you can't find anyone locally who can help you I'd be happy to look at it. No charge, one old Scout to another.

A good jeweler/watchmaker can repair the bracelet.

I had a fella fix my Omega 11/71 bracelet.

OK after seeing the photos, I think it can be repaired.

Remove the broken link set and add a link to the end.

Remove the bracelet, send me the extra links and bracelet if you can't find someone else to do it and Ill see what I can do.
