Very nice! I know crap about design, but, I know what I like. Nice!

Where does the coffee come out?

No coffee, but if you hold it against your face you get a nice shave.

A busy week for me as I added another cheap date, my new Seiko 5. The embodiment of a value proposition (to borrow the HODINKEE catch phrase).

Impeccably finished. Quite amazing. Jubilee style bracelet. Automatic movement with day/date complication and glistening center hand sweep seconds. I'm in love a little bit.

All for less than $80 delivered. Absurd. I'll probably put a $200 shell cordovan strap on it one day. That's also absurd! Smile

I like it. Mine doesn't have the Jubilee-style bracelet, and the day and date rings are white. I think I like the back better.

My old Seiko 5, which I bought used here, is on my wrist everyday at work where it takes a beating! It laughs!

It is very hard to beat a Seiko for value and utility.

Wear my Seiko 5 to work every day, too. Anything I wear takes a beating 'cause I'm a bit, um, clumsy. It doesn't show it.

I'm a huge fan of fine watches, but there is something liberating about a watch that you could buy 20 of, for less than the cost of a Rolex service.

I think I need a gold Rolex President. Smile

It's not a Marathon, Rolex, Brietling, etc...

But it's mine, and ohhhh so comfy. My new Seiko Baby Tuna Auto. My first, and definitely not my last Seiko time piece. I'm thinking Zulu strap in the near future.

And a gift to my dad, who wore a Seiko all through my childhood and early adult life. Not sure what happened to it, but he hasn't worn a watch since. I'm presenting it to him this weekend.

Sounds like the BLNR model. I love that look, just couldn't find the extra 2k to buy one. I got a hell of a great price on this one.

You made a good investment. I've worn my GMT Master nearly every day since I bought it new in March, 1983. One service, and it needs a second, wear-and-tear started to show a few years ago, the radium died, but I'll never give it up.
