Sorry I am a little late. Here is my 2004 R32.

Here are two of my many previous VW's. I had to let both of these go last year because of my divorce. It was very hard to do, but I'll be looking for another one in the next few years. Red and white one is a 1959 and the blue one is 1963. Both are sliding rag-top (sunroof) models.

Thanks very much for the kind words Ppub101, much appreciated! Great pictures from the R32 run as well! SoCalR32 does huge ones in Southern California pretty frequently, but I haven't been able to make it to one yet. Your 20th AE is really nice as well. Was you bug a 67? Do you still have it?

The R32 has one of the best exhaust notes. I had an opportunity to drive one when the they first came out (MKIV). What a great car. You guys are lucky!

That R meet look's like a good time.

I love the 2004 R32's. The new 08's just don't do it for me.

I'd love to pick up an '04 after I get my Passat paid off, but my wife dosen't see the need for 4 cars with 2 people.

Women, they just don't understand!

Now if they bought the R36 Passat, that would be the car to have! I'm having a hard time holding myself back from buying a V6 4Motion Passat Wagon already, the R package would push me over the edge!

Believe me, I feel your pain. Watching my 59 and 63 beetles go was extremely difficult, to say the least. Frown I just keep telling myself I will build a better one down the road. I know my 5 year old son misses them too.

Here's the story:
The time is early 80s (don't laugh). We had a local 1/4 mile oval track. My dad wanted to build a car but was to afraid to drive it... so at 15 I started racing. It was a blast!
