I still have the box, target and everything else with my '85 (original owner here) in the condition I bought it in. Even the extra mag is still in the box in the original plastic, unused. How many rounds have you put through your '84?
.................................................................................................................. A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and he carries his banners openly. But the traitor moves among those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the galleys, heard in the very hall of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor - he speaks in the accents familiar to his victims, and wears their face and their garment, and he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation - he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of a city - he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to be feared. ∑ Cicero, 42 B.C.

The P226 is my favorite platform. Here's a couple photos (I'm obviously not good at taking pictures). 1988 West German. A later model with Stainless Slide A P226 X-Five L1

Good to have all the original goodies! I have just over 300 rounds through my '84 P226.

Here's my JE coded 226 finished in Robar. I picked it up with the original box, papers, test target, three mags, and Crimson Trace Laser Grips.

Finally joined the P226 club with this... a KF P226 which has since received new springs, an SRT, and Elite Rosewood Grips... front night sight will be installed after I see where the POI is, as she's wearing 8 front, 7 rear sights currently... Already stocked up with 4 German 15 rounders and 4 Mecgar 18 rounders...

Why .308? Because people have a strange tendency to get behind things when you start shooting at them.
