Excellent job Newf! Why did he cut the hole in the middle of it? Can't the round pass thru at great distances and would be difficult to register a hit? I'm probably missing the obvious as usual here Razz

That hole was to add a swing/popper plate - now done too, just need to get it to the range! Smile

Very cool! Can you actually hear the round hit at that distance wearing ear protection? I'm a curious sort Razz I'd love the opportunity to pop off a few rounds at it myself back in the day! Looks like great fun. We never had good stuff to shoot at in my days, just the usual, beer cans, old tv's, radios, any junk we could collect going house to house before we went to shoot in the sticks!

Regards, Will G.

My old ears probably won't hear squat LOL, but should be able to see the swing plate move when hit - using a scope I hope!

I was cleaning up some landscaping around the house and found this "rock" (it's more than likely a piece of coral judging from the worm holes) with the imprint of a long dead something...it's about half the size of a dime...there is a smaller one at about 11:00 that I didn't see until the iPod pic.

A very long assembly of phone photos over the years. I admit I got carried away but I hope they are worth your effort.
