Yep, Canon pinon puller (very old one) and a roller warmer for resetting roller jewels. I should have thought and taken a picture of the pallet warmer. Maybe tomorrow.

My new favorite tool, a digital scale, finally arrived. Five year warranty. Five functions for viewing weight.
At last I'll get moving on this project, now that the weight is recorded. The middle image is a Schweitzer (Copy of 1813) violin top which is long overdue to being reunited with the rest of its violin.
Image 1] 1914 Todt top, 67 grams
Image 2] Schweitzer (Copy of 1813) top c.1895, 92 grams
Image 3] A generic shop violin, 1850-1870, 463 grams. A really really nice old violin might come in just under 400 grams, strings and chin rest included (ready to play).

Unsure what these are for.
Finally a need for a new tool. ⅛" - 27 tap to touch up the threads when replacing a commercial range gas burner valve. The manifolds are just a piece of steel pipe drilled and tapped. Waiting for the motherload of garage sales has not worked out.

Ah. Sounds like something that would be used to set up CNC for replicating a prototype, or maybe a 3D printer.

The tool I posted is stamped stainless steel. Very hand-make looking. Maybe it is for jewelers, to hold their thing while they soldered? With the detents on the handle to hold a clip-in retaining ring?

I love finding old tools like this hand powered drill press and putting them back to use. I found pictures of this model on line so I can make the work plate that the material rests on .
