Well 99.9% Here's what I started with

DEMO

Fix/Upgrade ALL the plumbing

Extra Outlets & lite over the shower (major PITA I hate attic work)

Drywall tape mud texture. Start putting back. Set the tub.

Install/waterproof my rock and lay out the math for my boxes.

And away we go

Get the floor in and set the stool

Install the cabinets

My counter tops came on New years eve day.

Had 2 custom pieces of Granite for the shower. one was wrong & 2 ft of backsplash didn't make on the truck. They'll be back

Three mirrors to hang and I'm done.

They're perfect now.

Good job on the redo. Looks like a lot of work but well worth the effort.

Jim

Nice work! I need to do something similar, but we only have one bathroom, so when I do it it's gonna have to be at least basically functional within a day. I'm really dreading it, so I've been putting it off...

Thanks, I hear ya, this is the 2nd bath in the house. I already did the 1st one.

Remodeling a house with one bath (living in it) is very tough. If you're married, good luck.

Nicely done. I had never thought of putting granite in the niches but I like how that turned out.

I didn't do that in the 1st bath, and was looking for a way to increase storage area. The lower one I'm wondering if someone will bang their shins on it. Shouldn't be to big of a problem it's a guest not a master bath.

Looking good! Did you insulate the shower walls?

Even if they're not exterior walls, putting in some insulation can make a big difference, both in temperature and soundproofing. During the master bath remodel at my last house, I installed rockwool insulation around the walk-in tile shower.

It resulted in much less noise to disturb the person in the adjoining master bedroom during those late night/early morning showers, the interior of the shower was noticeably quieter/less hollow-sounding, and the tile stayed warmer longer.

Yes I did. Whenever I remove drywall in this house I insulate the space.

Nice. Next pandemic, you're welcome to get your tools and stay with me.
