Very nice! I really like the countertops and the little cubby you put in the shower.

Nice work! I need to do something similar, but we only have one bathroom, so when I do it it's gonna have to be at least basically functional within a day. I'm really dreading it, so I've been putting it off...

Thanks, I hear ya, this is the 2nd bath in the house. I already did the 1st one.
Remodeling a house with one bath (living in it) is very tough. If you're married, good luck.

Nicely done. I had never thought of putting granite in the niches but I like how that turned out.

I didn't do that in the 1st bath, and was looking for a way to increase storage area. The lower one I'm wondering if someone will bang their shins on it. Shouldn't be to big of a problem it's a guest not a master bath.

Even if they're not exterior walls, putting in some insulation can make a big difference, both in temperature and soundproofing. During the master bath remodel at my last house, I installed rockwool insulation around the walk-in tile shower.
It resulted in much less noise to disturb the person in the adjoining master bedroom during those late night/early morning showers, the interior of the shower was noticeably quieter/less hollow-sounding, and the tile stayed warmer longer.

Yes I did. Whenever I remove drywall in this house I insulate the space. This message has been edited. Last edited by: yucaipa,

Nice. Next pandemic, you're welcome to get your tools and stay with me.
