I call this series "10-7 1965" The Detective Special dates to 1965. The magazine is an American Rifleman from September 1962 that a friend (Hogleg Smith) gave me for my 50th birthday. The mug as a gift from my son, but seemed "Period Correct", as do the Camels and my Dad's old lighter. The Hubertus just rounds it out. Which do you like best?

Why does your ejector rod look longer than in the mag pic? Longer barrel?

Great eye, Sigfest. The one in the picture is actually in .38 S&W caliber, not .38 Special like mine. That is one reason it was so cheap.
