I am currently in the process of trying to find a P228 TT GOTM with nickel controls. I noticed another thread earlier that had a WG P220 TT with nickel controls and started thinking maybe I would add one of those to the list also. Then, the bright idea of getting the same in the P229 and the P226 hit me (man, this is getting expensive). So, since I don't currently have any of these would those of you that do, please show me yours?

Thanks.

Thanks Modie. That is a very nice collection... I almost wish I hadn't seen it Wink

Ever since I saw Lunde's P228TT with the Nills on it I have really wanted one. I'll find the right one with the right deal one of these days.

I own two P228 Two-Tones with nickel controls, one of which is the GOTM version. I have yet to photograph it. It is basically identical to my non-GOTM version except that it has standard sights as opposed to night sights. I also put Nill grips on my non-GOTM version. Here she is:

Hey SFORAFF - Welcome to the forum. That slide is a nickel finish. As you notice, it also has the nickel controls that came on it from the factory. Brad at CCR can give you what you're looking for. He has ads in the classified section. I believe that some of the ones that modiecast has in this post were done by Brad, though I may be confusing that with his reverse two-tone collection.

The P225 above was done by Brad with a House Black Cera-Hide frame and everything else done in Cera-Plate. The two-tones in my collection of six are all SIG factory nickel.

Reliable - I love the look of the bottom piece here. I'm guessing it didn't come out of the factory like that...? If not, who did it? Thanks.

Looks like a factory two tone P245 with aftermarket stainless grip screws (probably Hogue's) and a Bedair stainless checkered guide rod.

Thanks. I saw the guide rod and wondered whether a more extensive refinish had been done. I really like the shade of gray and the finish on the slide and controls and am looking to re-do one of my P6's like that...

My P225 a few posts above was refinished by CCR with a House Black frame and Cera-Plate slide, controls, barrel and grip screws which is like electroless nickel only more durable and slicker for easier cleaning.

That looks pretty good. What is that band of silver below the de-cocker? Also, what do you do with the magazines? I think the floor plate and the rest of the assembly would be great in silver, too.
