Great forum! Own a Sig Sauer Model 200 hunting rifle (30-06). Sweet as can be. Handguns: Ruger Single Six, Walther PPK-S and an old army issue 1911 that my dad just passed on to me last weekend. Still shoots great. One day a 229....

I own a Sig Sauer 200 rifle in 308 and a Sig Sauer 202 rifle in 270. They are great guns like the Sig pistols I own.

Thanks for the welcome. I noted that you own a Sauer 202. Did you purchase it new? If so, where? I haven't had any success locating a U.S. dealer for new Sauer hunting rifles. I purchased my 200 used. I'd like to purchase a second magazine for the 200 as well, but don't know where to go.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm considering .40 cal when I get a 229. I gather from your username that it is your preference. Have you had the opportunity to compare it with .357 Sig? If so, what are your thoughts, other than cost difference for the ammo.
