Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I am planning on purchasing either a P226 or P229 Classic .22LR so that I can get a lot of practive time at the range. I still do not know which one to pick. Decisions...decisions Smile

Welcome - Audioholic covered most of it - there also is a range at Superior Pawn off Virginia Beach Blvd. I've never shot there, but they do have a wide selection of firearms and the staff seemed friendly and helpful when I stopped in to browse...

I shoot a lot at Lynnhaven since it is close to work. The yearly membership is reasonable and after you become more of a regular, they are a little easier to work with when it comes to shooting rapid fire, etc.

C2 is nice, but it's expensive and a decent drive since it's down in Pungo. I live pretty far south by the courthouse and it's still at good 25 minute drive. Good when you have multiple guns and lots of ammo to shoot.
