Never considered a striker fire pistol until now. Had a chance to handle an x5. My LGS had a lightly used one for $700 OTD so after trying the trigger I very impressed as to the lightness of it (4.5 lbs). Always been a 1911 shooter but the pistol impressed me though not a fan of magazines sticking out the bottom of the magwell so I'll look for 17 round substitutions. First range experience was encouraging. Had to re-learn trigger techniques from a 1911 that you feel a hammer drop to a Sig that you don't even though trigger pulls identical. Fit my 75 year old hand quite nicely. Gonna invest in a romeo 1 to help these tired eyes.
