Thanks a lot for accepting me into your forum.
Gun control over here is very strict and the penalties that apply for illegal posessioning or using a gun are the same as for terrorism. Getting a permit for training as a hobby is much easier. Anyway, I am new to Sigs; I own a P232SL, 9mm/380ACP. The first question I have is if anyone can help with what type or brand of leather waistholster to buy.
Hoping to make new friends, you all have my regards from sunny Athens.

Welcome to the forum. It's a great place.

With regards to a holster for your P232, take a look at these, DeSantis SIG P232 Holsters

Regards,
Storm

Yiassou. I spent quite a bit of time living and working in Athens and then later Chania Crete in the early 90's. Still miss the beaches and most of all the food. Welcome.

Hello to everyone.
I am very pleased by your welcome; thank you. As for member "storm" I looked up for the DeSantis holsters, but the company does not sell outside USA, Canada andn Puerto Rico. So, I guess I will have to find if there is a rep in Athens. I do have a holster, but it is a plastic one. Thanks a lot, though.
As for member "randyw", I am glad you enjoyed your stay in Greece. Should you ever come over again, I shall be more than glad to extend my hospitality to you. You know how Greeks are to their friends.
Anyway, I will have more to tell you in a couple of days, when I will get a chance to shoot a few rounds.
Regards from Athens.

Howdy from Texas Anargyros!

Glad you joined.

Good to here that Sigs are available in Greece.

Give us more insight to Greek firearms law when you can?

Houston has a sizable Greek population, lots of Pappas here. One successful family owns a successful restaurant chain, Pappasitos, Pappadeux, Pappas Steak House...

Welcome. I was in Athens 75-76. I often think about returning as I have some fond memories about the country and the friends I made there. Someone here will likely be able to answer your questions.

I have been to those. I was there in 1992 for the GOP convention, good times.
