California - also known as "you can't have that new Sig ......" Frown

Just picked up a Sig 229, non-railed type, and joined to learn some of the finer points of fiddling with it. Already did the SRT, added some 224 parts for that "upgraded" look and am looking for something between the bulky wood grips and factory plastic.

If most had the chance to get one of these, that new Sig would be second best.

Check out a set of the black checkered aluminum grips available if you can.

My other Sig is a Steyr...

Welcome from the southern border. You'll like this house, just remember it's privately owned and operated.

Help, I'm having premonitions of future flashbacks.

And some people listen to the quiet.

Welcome from the Bay Area also.

Lots of helpful friendly people here. They just don't tolerate much bull. It helps if you're friendly yourself and have a thick skin to take any correction or ribbing.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.
