Hello all. Just ordered my first Sig and just joining this forum. The P239 is in 40 cal and I am plannning to buy conversion barrels. Is it as easy as it sounds to convert to 9mm or .357? Any issues?

hello, welcome to the forum. Smile

You might get more replies if you post those questions in the Pistols thread. I wish I could help you but I don't know much about conversions.

sorry

Hi! Welcome to the forum.

The conversion is just as easy as they make it sound. Great CC gun you have there!

I am happy to be here and I can't wait to shoot my new Sig. I have to leave town this week which means it will have to wait until I return. I'll let you all know what I think about my new P239 when I return!

I was in San Francisco when I sent the payment for my new Sig P239. The bank teller at the B of A who made out my Cahsier's check was very positive about the purchase, which quite frankly and figuratively, blew me away. She told me she loved Sig's and her father taught her to shoot! I guess all is not lost out on the left coast.

What's her number, I'm down Wink

Congrats on the p239.

Conversion requires a new barrel for .357sig, that's all.

Easy eh?

I have no idea about 9mm conversion.

Welcome! The 239's a great one. It is my carry (.40). Never did the conversion thing as the .40 seems about right for me.
