I already have a few posts under my belt but figured I'd introduce myself.
I've been in the shooting "arts" for about 20 years but still consider myself a learner (I refuse to call shooting a hobby). Due to my job and the terrible state of the industry, I spend half my time in the San Francisco area and half my time in Houston (when I'm not "on the road"). Originally from Wyoming though. I registered back around June, but have been a lurker for years. Anyhow, I figured I'd become active here since it seems the Sig Forum has a lot of really knowledgeable people and a much less testosterone driven atmosphere. It seems Internet commandos and mall ninjas are less prominent here than other places. I'm a big fan of Sig Firearms (although I also love Beretta's and Browning's and certainly appreciate the 1911) and own a P228, P220, Mosquito, and recently acquired a SP2022. I would love to one day own a Sig 556 rifle, but I'm not quite sure that will ever happen. |

Having carried a Beretta for the past year in Iraq, almost without exception, the soldiers disliked the Berettas and given the choice opted for the P226 in 9mm.
