The primer flash hole is simply punched, not drilled so You occasionally have a small burr.......nothing to worry about.

I wouldn't even bother separating the 9mm brass out by headstamp (err... manufacturer). As long as it is boxer primed (one hole through which the primer's flash comes through) and is made from brass AND is 9mm (9 Luger or 9 Parabellum or 9 X 19 to be exact) it's all good. It sucks, slowing down the reloading process when a .380 Auto or a .38 Super (Super Comp) gets in with the 9mm Para brass. __________________________ What? 9mm brass is overengineered in my book. Even though 9mm is a pretty high pressure cartridge; 9mm brass seldom wear out. I usally keep reloading the same 1000 rounds of brass until I find a spit case or (more rare) a case separation. This works out to be around 10 plus reloads per case.... quote: Originally posted by southerncomforthemi: have I got this right...I keep my winchester white box casing for reloading....how many times can I use them....starting with 1000 rounds of luger 9mm

In my opinion I will have to put Winchester brass on the top,Speer is good along with Blazer brass.Fed is good in pistol rounds but it will split in the shoulder of rifle brass, seen that on new factory rounds. Remington and umc remington is real thin and do not hold neck tension very well.If thats all you have then load them, beats nothing. For your best shooting groups do sort your brass and shoot the same brand in a string. Keep this a secret,do not tell your shooting buddies this, you shooting ability will impress them
