My vote goes to CLAYS and POWER PISTOL. Both VERY clean in any pistol ctg. I use CLAYS in shotshells to the tune of 6 to 8 Eight pounders per year. VERY clean in shotshells.

I use HP-38(231) for my USP9, Kel-Tec 9 and 226. 4.6-4.8gr and I notice its a quite dirty around the muzzle and underside. I shoot anywhere between 200 and 300 per session and clean within a few hours of getting home. I thought it looked pretty good, actually. But, before I started reloading I used to subject my USP to 300 rounds per week of Wolf Ammo and clean every other week. It was just to see if I would have any problems (didn't). I thought my handloads are clean compared to that ammo.

All powders are "dirty"to some degree, why worry about it if the load "performs".Want a clean gun-dont shoot it!I would have more concern for downrange performance than how many patches I use. Will

I used a max load of AA#2. It seemed clean. AA#5 on the other hand, always seemed very messy.
