I have two books and the accurate load guide, but still need a little help. I am looking for loads for a 9mm 115 grain copper jacketed with accurate 2 powder and .380 95 grain jhp with accurate 2 powder.
Thank you in advance and I appreciate anyone willing to give up their time. |

I'm not near my books but per the Accurate website:
For 9mm FMJ using AA#2 you should start at 4.2gr with a 4.7gr being max. I would probably make 5 or 10 rounds of 4.4/4.5/4.6 and see which one groups better. For .380 using AA#2 you should start at 3.3gr with a max of 3.7gr. same thing as with the above load, I'd make a few in each amount 3.4/3.5/3.6 and see which one groups better. Double check your loads with the other books just in case. ---------- Yes, as a matter of fact I do own a gun. Free Classic P-Series Sig Armorer services on Long Island and around the NYC area. |

I just checked my reloading books for you....
The .380 recipe is what i'd work with. Lee Second Edition confirms what I posted. Speer #14 is very close and a few of my other manuals didn't have AA#2. The one thing I'd do is see what the MAX oal is for .380 and play around with that since that will help with accuracy as well. Let me know if you want me to check the 9mm one as well. ---------- Yes, as a matter of fact I do own a gun. Free Classic P-Series Sig Armorer services on Long Island and around the NYC area. |
