Bayou 158gr SWC and H-110 loads in 357 mag
Has anybody load 357 mag loads using coated bullets and H-110? Any leading problems? Or due I need to find a coated bullet with a gas check? I am looking for something cheaper than a FMJ bullet.

Well some of your post is a might confusing and make no sense.
Gas checks are not necessary for coated,h110 is for use with full case and mag primer.
My opinion for you is to use 2400 powder for several revolver chamberings with regular primers.
That powder is versatile from mild to wild.
one of my favorites for about fifty years

Thanks 45 Cal

I have used 2400 in 44 mag with FMJ bullets with good results. I will try 2400 with coated bullets, first in 357 magnum, than in 44 magnum.

Baked on powder coated work great in revolvers, but with the 1911 I use red dot at 4.9 under 230 bullet.
I had to take that up 2 /10 to make the action cycle reliably.Seems less recoil than lead bullets and without that blue grease all over the gun.
