I have just started reloading. So fairly new to the game. Im shooting a X-five in IPSC standard division. So im trying to find some nice loading data for it. Anyone have any tips to what powder/set length/bullets weight gives a nice soft recoil and 125-130 power factor?
All tips are very much appreciated by a very new home loader

What kind of powders are available there? That will help with our recommendations. The length is at least for me is as long as will feed good in the mag.

Think we have access to most of what you guys have. Alot of the guys in my club use Vihtavuori(think its made in finland) and their N300 series that are made for handguns. N320,330,340,350 and 3N37 those i can get my hands on fairly easy.

I have heard some folks post that they use that,Its way to expensive for me ,I use win 231 ,Red-Dot and universal in the forty Always got good results with 231 in the 9's.

A 145 grain cast roundnose bullet and 3.8 grains N340 gave me 915 fps = PF 132 and soft, comfortable shooting. A jacketed bullet would probably take a slightly heavier powder charge for the same velocity. I started loaded to an OAL of 1.16" which is very near the maximum for 9mm P and too long for some guns. The load was well below maximum so I was not worried by reducing that to 1.14" for other pistols.
