Ox19010mm for hunting
Anybody have any proven loads for this? Looking at 200 XTP's with most likely Power Pistol.

45 CalI have hunted all my adult life with this motto;
The game you are killing should be done with the best equipment you have ,and the most humanly as possible
Rifle is my choice but I shoot handguns very well , just not for game animals
You might be the best shot in your state but you inquired about loading's and that tells me you are not.
I stand by my above statement.

sourdough44We can almost assume most people intend on deer these days, with ‘hunting’.
No I wouldn’t consider the 10mm ideal for deer hunting. Under controlled, disciplined conditions, it could be workable.
I took one deer with a 357 mag years ago, also not ideal, though only went about 50 yards.
I have a relative that does some mild bear hunt guiding on the side, 2-3 hunters a year. This year he had tough odds with tracking wounded bears. Yes, they got the two, not easy. He has carried a Glock 22 much of the time. I can’t see him buying a big-bore Ruger. Normally his 40 cal isn’t counted on to be a show stopper.
With the fat, any expanding bullet in a handgun has poor penetration. I bought some Underwood 200 grain hardcast in 40 for him to try. Again, not saying the 40 S&W is the best choice for tracking, often a long gun is in the mix.

Ox190Sorry I should have said it's for feral hogs, I know some people deer hunt with 10mm but I'm not interested in deer hunting with it. Shots will be 50 yards or less.
