cuda2045Anyone used Accurate 1680?
I am looking for a light load for my 454 Casull.
I shoot 240 - 300 grain copper clad bullets, 240 xtp mag at 2105 fps using max H 110 loads. H 110, my range sessions are short, for my arms hurt.
AA 1680 looks like a soft load. Is it accurate? AA #9 is a little hotter, I have not tried # 9 let.
Can AA # 9 and 1680 be used with Hi Tec cast bullets? Max speed 1400 fps with no leading?
The pistol that am using is a Freedom Arms 6" barrel.

entropyI use it for .300aac. The reason I like it is because its not "spikey" and delivers very predictable results.

sunburnI use 1680 for 300 blackout hi tek cast bullets. Use 110 also, no issues either one.

mindustrialI got a box of 445sm I loaded with 180gr and a full case of 1680. My fire and brimstone load for when the homies at the indoor range go crazy with the hi points, and the hillbillies go nuts with their mossbergs. Lotsa noise & flash.
It's a bit on the slow side. I actually prefer H4227 for my std. 445 loads or 2400 for medium load 44's.

baker1425I use it for blackout, 454, 500 and 50ae. It's the only powder I can get to work the slide on my DE.
