I've got a ton of cases sitting around empty. Where are you finding .223 bullets to load these days? I don't need home defense, going to war, TEOTWAWKI, type bullets, just cheap plinkers.

I remember pulled bullets being affordable last year. Anyone?

Thanks,

Wideners is good. I've ordered there before. Thanks for the reminder. Anyone else have a favorite?

Montana Gold pistol caliber bullets are first class. Their .223 bullets don't yet have that reputation. Between Hornady and MG, Hornady is the safer choice for large quantities. You might try 1,000 to see if you like them as well as the Hornady. Good luck.

Montana Gold 55 grainer FMJ's. I bought a whole case of 3,500 from a local shop for $248 out the door.

I haven't found a good cheap source for the heavier bullets though, say the 69 or 77 grainers.

I might try PRVI bullets in those weights.

i dont know much about plinking for the 223 but a quick look on grafs dealer site gives

FED BULLET 22c 55gr FMJBT (.224) w/CANN. BULK P/100

for 114.67 for 2k plus actual shipping costs

or the regular grafs site has them for 139.03 shipped

to get on the dealer site all you need is a C and R license

the graf's dealer website also has the heavier 77 grain, I think, PRVI bullets..

They also have the PRVI .40 cal bullets, a 180 gr copper jacketed hollow point real cheap too.

Thanks for all the links. I'll be putting in an order and cranking up the Hornady soon.
