Anyone have a good source for the Dillon press, SIL wants to load his own 45's thinking about getting him the Dillon to use...

The Progressive is nice but not necessary.

Links to resellers or used would be great and if you have another besides Dillon you like, chime in...

Thanks

I got my Hornady LNL here

Bass Pro Shops keeps the LNL in stock, but it's almost $100 more.

You can get the Dillon from http://www.dillonprecision.com/.

Also from http://www.brianenos.com/store/dillon.550.html

Hornady dies and Dillon are the same quality, with the Dillon with a slight edge with their stuck case removal option built right into the die.

Brian Enos has dies in stock that everyone else is out of.

Press Cost:
Dillon 550 - $406.95

Hornady LNL/AP - $368.85

To convert calibers on a Dillon costs $41 for the shellplate/powder funnel kit, 60.95 for Dies, 29.95 for a toolhead and powder die.
Approx $130 per caliber.

To convert calibers on a Hornady costs: $28 for the shell plate, 41.48 for the dies, 16.88 for the taper crimp, $11.00 for the bushings.

$97.36 per caliber for Hornady products, less with other brands of dies.

*my prices are pulled from Brian Eno's and Midsouth Shooters Supply*
