Just got home from NC, DEC05...it’s on the counter. I will open it tomorrow. Thanks much. Trying to catch up on all that I’ve missed...the forum, politics, etc..

Started loading up some 44 Special brass with 200gr PRNFP bullets ahead of 6.0gr of Trail Boss powder. These are great range loads for my snubby 44 Special revolvers.

I cleaned out my shed enough that I can get to my bench last weekend. Last night, I actually cleaned up the bench and deprimed some 5.56. It was long overdue -5-6 years maybe? Excited to be back...

Decided to try we tumbling with SS chips (not pins). Ordered a Thumbler's model B from Midway that was on clearance and some tumbling media from Sleeping Giant Brass.

I'm ready to try something besides dry dirty tumbling.

I prepped some 308 LC cases that were dry tumbled and hopefully that was the last time before wet tumbling.

Used Redding wax and dry neck lube with a Redding SB bushing die

Thumler's is what y'all are talking sbout? I've seen here and others talk about pins and specific tumblers and I think autocorrect screws up the name to Thumbless and others. Is it one specific one that works or any of the Thumler's tumblers?

ETA: thanks benny6- looked up the model b at midway

All shiny and new! Only an hour and a half in the Thumler's Tumbler with hot water, dawn and lemmi-shine. I used five pounds of stainless chips (not pins) from sleeping giant brass. Nothing stuck in flash holes and nothing stuck in the case necks.

Ninety 308 XM80 FC-18 marked cases and two 30-06 cases.

Tony.

Pulled about 200 9mm bullets from cases and then re-reloaded 100 of them with the correct amount of powder.

Something I'm betting nobody else did. 100 rounds of .38 S&W, 148 grain HBWC seated about half way out (COL 1.11 inches) over 2.4 grains AA #2 powder. These are for a 1950 Terrier and a British Victory model S&W.

Setup a quick change reloading station on the bench in the man cave. Loaded some tests loads in 308 175 gr match king using IMR 4064 for the AR-10 I just finished building. Played around with the Hornady OAL gauge. Need some practice on that. Good to get back into reloading.

I’m loading the 41 mag now. So far about 80 rounds with 210 grain plated bullets, Unique.

Next up, jacketed 210 grain bullets with Enforcer powder.

Primed 900 9mm cases. I’ve found I swear a lot less if I prime brass separately before I load on the Pro-1000.

I tested some 41 mag ‘snake shot’ I ginned up, tested superbly.

I used 5.6-5.7 grains of Titegroup powder & #11 shot I bought from Midway. I used a .410 ‘shot card’ over the powder, then added the shot.

Once the shot was added I firmed it in place with fingernail polish.

The shot cards were fairly thin, but I split them with a knife.

I tried .410 shotgun wads & other methods, a bit more bother than worth.

I’m ready for that rattler next time out prairie dogging in SD.

I tested and chronographed (in the rain, which kinda sucked) two different loads for my M1 Garand, one with IMR 4894, and another with IMR 4064. Both seemed to run just fine...and my local store just got in a bunch of 4064, so that's cool. I still need to put the data together from the chronograph session to see what the final results are.
