I would bet the BH uses the SIerra 168grMK moly. With a chronograph, it should be easy enough to duplicate or maybe even slightly improve on that load in your individual rifle.
I would try 168grSMK moly, although not a fan of moly bullets, CCI LRBR primers, match prepped cases & Varget, or W748 powder. IF YOU AREN'T HANDLOADING, YOU AREN'T SHOOTING ENOUGH! |

They are not more accurate & cost more than non moly match bullets. I've found if you shoot moly bullets, for best accuracy you need to season the barrel by having it very clean & then shooting moly bullets through it. After that, shooting only moly bullets or accuracy trying to go to gilding metal or copper will be spotty at best. At least that is my experience w/ them in several bolt guns. Just not worth the effort. If that is the only bullet you want to shoot, then have at it, you'll be fine, but if you switch from that to say cheap FMJ, accuracy is likey to suffer going back & forth. IF YOU AREN'T HANDLOADING, YOU AREN'T SHOOTING ENOUGH! |
