I have seen recommendations for powder and primers, but does anyone have a suggestion on where to go for Dillon reloaders and all the related accessories? Should I buy direct, or is there a dealer who provides good prices and great service that you would recommend?

I suggest you go right to the front of the line and call the nice folks at Dillon. They will sell you exactly the equipment you need, dealers usually got some bias and a first time loader does not need that confusion.

Brian Enos is the way to go. Read all the info on his site - he has different packages for starting from scratch or for the guy adding a second or third press. You can call him and he'll help you sort through the options based on what you want: lowest initial cost, best balance of initial cost and total expense later, all the bells and whistles, or whatever you are after. He also good advice on which accessories are mandatory and which are unnecessary.

The prices are the same as direct from Dillon but I think you get free shipping for orders over $400.

^^^ plus he has all these "buy it as it should be" packages so you get all the doo-dads all in one purchase and delivered to your down all at once, instead of buying a big item here and then waiting for that to get delivered and then putting every thing together and then figuring out that it would be really nice to have some accessory and then placing another order and then waiting some more.

If you're looking at Dillon, I'd definitely use Brian Enos... I was looking at big blue until I was seduced by the Honady LnL... for that, I'd buy at Graf's just because they keep everything in stock, and the shipping is very reasonable.

Since I am across town from Dillon's I go there regularly Smile. As you are in Utah see Brian Enos's website. He can help guide you in what you need.
