I've googled, and am quite boggled that there isn't a list of all powders by their shapes...

I'm looking for the best metering powders out there for .223, I want to have a shopping list ready before I go to the reloading store today.

So far, I'm looking at H335 if I find 62gr bullets

Good choice with the H335. I also like AA2460 and WW748 a lot as well, and they all meter like water in my Dillon 550B.

If you want to stick to ball propellants for best metering in a speed that is a good fit for those bullets (data available), might also look at Ramshot TAC, BLC-2, and AA2230. IMR propellants will be "stick" powders of varying lengths, as will Varget, H4895, H4350, H4831, etc. Alliant propellants suitable for .223 are currently stick, but they are coming out with USA made spherical propellants, and it looks like their "varmint" labeled one may be a decent choice when real feedback is available.

Lots of good choices out there.

Mr. J - My Lyman #47 manual doesn't list powders by shape, but in the descriptions it usually says what they are if that helps any.
