Well, when I carry a Sig it is a P230, as that is the only Sig I own. But, on occasion I will carry a S&W M&P 9c, or a Browning HP (9mm), or a Colt 1911, or a S&W 1917 with a 4" barrel.

Dont be so sure. My "what to carry" thread included fifty percent votes in favor of Glocks.

Other - P229 in .40 S&W.

When an American says that he loves his country, he means not only that he loves the New England hills, the prairies glistening in the sun, the wide and rising plains, the great mountains, and the sea. He means that he loves an inner air, an inner light in which freedom lives and in which a man can draw the breath of self-respect. ~Adlai Stevenson

Not to be a smartass....but I would think a gun's reliability and how well you can shoot it would be higher up the requirement list.

P229 .40/.357sig or my Glock 19. Usually my glock though because the hammer on my 229 digs into my side.

I carry rither the P239 in 40S&W or my P220.

I voted for P220 because it is what I carry most of the time.
