P6 - I'm surprised that this didn't make the list and assume that the majority of the 'other' responses are votes for the P6 also.

I voted other...

No sig can come close to the firepower/size of my G27. I know... I know... the dark side is strong.

I felt like putting a bullet between the eyes of every Panda that wouldn't screw to save its species. I wanted to open the dump valves on oil tankers and smother all the French beaches I'd never see. I wanted to breathe smoke.

I carry my P250; mostly because it's new. The 220 is kinda bulky during the TX summer months. I'd REALLY like to pick up a P239/357sig, but I'm drawn to medium size/weight pistols. HMM, maybe that means I should look at a 229/357sig...

I switch between my 239/.40 and my 250/9mm. Rarely, now, do i carry my 232. My PM9 has taken over that duty.

Other...

P229 Elite 9mm. (Might have hit the P239 .40 S&W but the P229 goes with me more often.)

I voted other because you didn't offer a none of the above.

I use my XD 45 Service for everyday carry.

I just replaced my Beretta 84 for a 232. I will probably pick up a 225/P6 or 239 for another option.

The Sig P232 is my "always" gun. It is the most easily concealed without a jacket and the most likely to be carried at all times.

Other... SP2022 in 9mm or P229 in 40S&W depending on my mood and occassionally my P232 as a BUG on my ankle.

I use a P229 mag base plate when I carry my SP2022 to reduced its print--read about it on SF some time ago. It should also fit your 2009 Dan.

That's my theory. A little gun in my pocket is worth more than all my guns in the safe at home. Cool

Out of what you listed, P226. I carry a Springer M1911 or HK P2000 more.

229 with Streamlight TLR-2 affixed inside the IWB DeSantis holster (modified to allow the Streamlight to stay affixed) with spare mag, cuffs, and Streamlight Scorpion C4 LED (120 lumens helps, but I'd really like the new FENIX...someday when $ comes along).

If only I could get that conversion barrel for 9mm and fit the suppressor on the end and shove all of that IWB...kidding.

Thomas Jefferson, founder of the University of Virginia, recording the words of Cesare Beccaria: “Laws that forbid the carrying of arms . . . disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes . . . Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.”
