I carry my 228 in a Galco summer comfort, and like it a lot. As a low cost holster it works great.

Some hate 'em but I use the Don Hume H715 clip at a cost of around $30 shipped for my IWBs.

Fist #20 Hybrid (leather over kydex), with two tension screws. Not pretty, but it's for concealment so who cares. It's a little pricey, but it's damn near perfect so it's worth it. The only mod I made was I replaced the leather snap straps with the rubber ones from my Blade-Tech IWB.

I really like my Blade-Tech IWB, but my Fist #20 is a little more comfortable, and conceals better.

I got a VMII for a 226R or 220R. If you are interested. E-mail me.

I have to put in a +1 for the Crossbreed Supertuck - I've got two of them.

I think the Minotaur Sparten would be a good choice too - the design is very similar and you can get extra Kydex bodies for different pistols instead of buying a complete new holster.

Crossbreed
TT Gunlether

Those are the best holsters for the price. I currently use a TT Gunleather holster that is a replica of the VM II. It's extremely nice, comfortable, and well made.

Thank you all for the input and suggestions. I settled on the Crossbreed Supertuck for my G19, which I ordered (expecting a two week wait or longer) and received within 4 working days.

I am very impressed with the quality, adjustability and comfort level. On my body type it almost eliminates "printing" even when bending over. Since I have never carried IWB before, it is still slightly odd, but I really do like this setup. I can honestly say that re-holstering is easier with this than my Don Hume OBW holster (which I still love).

What impressed me the most was not only the quality of the holster, but the letter that came with it giving me a lifetime warranty that was signed by a real person. My holster even had my name on the back...it screamed "custom".

I am very pleased!
