Until I see a legal sign on the entrance I use, I will not worry about what their corporate policy is. The law states that they must ask you in person or display a legal sign in a prominent location to not allow you to carry in their public store. I have a feeling if they try it....they'll soon go out of business here.

I carry at walmart, every time.

In the WM closest to me, it's not "do you have a gun, it's where do you have the gun?" Just waiting at the return counter with my wife and watching the crowd, I saw four easily spotted carriers. It's the summer season with the realtively short t-shirts, especdially when reacing for the wallet or cash.

So in the morning I'm going to stop back by and ask one of the manager women I talk to sometimes about it.

Anybody have any ammo for me to use?

Some questions are better left unasked.

If it isn't posted then don't worry about it, just make sure it can't be seen. I don't know what the laws are like in your state, but John Ross told us that in Missouri even if it is posted on the door that doesn't mean that you can't carry in there. It simply means that if for some reason they find out that you are carrying then they can ask you to leave. If you don't then they can call the police and they can ask you to leave, and if you don't leave THEN it can become a problem. I'd find out what the law says in your state because the last time I checked state laws preempted any company "laws."

Yeah, this falls under the 'Don't Ask Don't tell' thing in my book (there's a joke in there somewhere).

Be aware that no matter what the corp. policy is, if you ask a local manager and he says you can't carry, then you can't legally carry.

Its best not to ask, ever. Either they are posted or they aren't. Its the business's responsibility, not yours.

What does the language of other people have to do with how many guns you carry? Do you carry more than 2 when there are more english speakers?

Ok, I'll bite. The WM near me seems to be a local hangout for illegals that run in packs of 15-20 people, not shopping, just standing around watching people and speaking spanish only. And there have been several attacks many in broad daylight by these groups.

Good enough for you?
