I bought a holster at the Alexander NY gunshow last week. I tried a sig 220 I bought in the holster, and it fit well. The holster is marked for a Sig Sauer p225/6, and is marked Hepco Made in West Germany. Would you expect a 220 to fit in this holster? also this holster has many things I don't understand, the snaps are double on the upper end of the holster, a male inside and out on one side and a female in and out on the other. Also you can run a 1.5 inch belt thru holster, and run backwards cant,or forward cant. Also a 1 inch belt can run thru loops and holster is horizontal, is this for a shoulder holster? What is the purpose of the ring by the loop? The holster is in excellent shape, and I like it, but I don't know what was it's designed purpose.

I snagged one of these off Ebay for my P226. I've never worn a shoulder holster and have to confess I am baffled on how to assemble this and wear it.
Any advice would be appreciated. |

It appears to be a shoulder holster that can be worn in a variety of ways with the proper accessories.

Yes. The slide and other dimensions of the 225 and the 220 are very similar, but the 220 slide is longer. ____________________________________________________________ "I've spoken of the shining city all my political life, but I don't know if I ever quite communicated what I saw when I said it. It looks like it's made to carry a hotdog, not a handgun... but that's just me and I have no experience with horizontal shoulder rigs.
